Our local primary school in Dunmanway The Model School There are plans to develop the present school by providing in-service teacher training resources on part of the site and modernising the rest of the site for the school itself. These plans take the Model School close to its original foundation, by helping in the training and development of good practice among teachers.

Maria Immaculata Secondary College,Dunmanway, formed by the amalgamation in September 2002 of Maria Immaculata Secondary School and Colaiste Chairbre Vocational School.
